Job Summary/Basic Functions

UMW Athletics is looking to fill a part time Customer Service position at the front desk of the University Tennis Center. This individual will assist with front desk operations, including—but not limited to—taking reservations, providing excellent customer service, processing payments and credit cards, handling reconciliations, and setting up tennis and pickleball courts.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain a welcoming, professional, and customer-focused front desk environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage interruptions while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with staff, patrons, and supervisors.

 

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Previous experience with multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.

Additional Considerations:

  • Previous POS/retail experience.
