Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Admissions Events and Office Manager is vital to the success of new student recruitment and enrollment in two significant ways. As office manager, this individual plays a key financial role as budget manager for Admissions allowing recruitment staff to purchase services, execute travel, have necessary materials to attract and enroll new students. Attention to detail is necessary to manage and record all purchasing transactions as well as participate in budget planning with senior leadership. As events manager, this individual will coordinate logistics for all on and off campus admissions recruitment and enrollment events. Details include scheduling, coordination of people, serving as point for event execution, and pulling data to assess event effectiveness toward meeting enrollment goals. Additionally, this individual plays a role in the daily visitor experience by supervising the Admissions Welcome Center staff, ensuring an extremely high level of customer service and responsiveness for in person visitors and inbound communication.
Required Experience:
Experience in an administrative position with budget responsibilities.
Supervisory experience.
Experience with MS Office, including spread sheets.
Experience in a customer-facing service environment.
Additional Considerations:
Preferred KSAs
Spanish language skills.
Preferred Education
Associate's or bachelor's degree.
Preferred Experience
Experience working with high school and college age students and/or working in a higher education environment.
