Job Summary/Basic Functions
The Annual Giving Student Aide plays a vital role in advancing UMW’s fundraising efforts by supporting campaign preparation, event coordination, outreach calls, and data management. This position provides valuable, hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and alumni engagement through participation in key initiatives such as EAGLEfunding, Giving Tuesday, and Mary Wash Day.
Responsibilities include data cleanup, research, organizing bulk mailings, and assisting with event planning and logistics. Occasionally, the Student Aide will also make calls to alumni, parents, and friends of UMW to update contact information, share university news, and solicit private support. Student aide will also assist in the reimplementation of student philanthropy program.
Schedule is flexible based on student's availability and class schedule.

Computer skills, ability to speak English clearly and effectively, ability to record data accurately, and ability to communicate positively and accurately about UMW.

Additional Considerations:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with digital creative tools such as Canva preferred. Office/admin and/or marketing/events experience preferred.
