Job Summary/Basic Functions

The University of Mary Washington, an NCAA Division III institution located in historic and vibrant Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking an assistant coach for baseball. Graduate tuition remission may be possible after one year of employment. Coaching duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach with practice and game preparation and coaching, recruiting, academics, fundraising, and the off-season program.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work with colleagues as well as student athletes.

Required Experience:

• Baseball coaching experience at NCAA level.
• Experience as a coach and student-athlete in college baseball.
• Experience developing and implementing a training regimen for pitchers.

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related field.

Required Licensure:

N/A

Additional Considerations:

KSAs:

• Experience with data tracking technology.
