Title: Center for Career and Professional Development Summer Intern

VP Area: Provost - UMW

Advertised Range: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary/Basic Functions

The intern will analyze and report on internship data, plan and market events, provide basic career counseling to students, and assist with administrative duties. This internship will allow the intern to develop competencies in teamwork and collaboration; critical thinking; digital fluency; communication; and career, self-development, and professionalism.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

Required:
Current UMW undergraduate or graduate student
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication
Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with the MS Office Suite

Desired:
Familiarity with Canva is a plus

Microsoft Office Suite
