Job Summary/Basic Functions

Reporting to the Director of Digital Strategy and working alongside the Director of Web Technology, the Web Content Specialist is responsible for ensuring the content of the University website is up-to-date, accurate, effective, and brand- and style-guide compliant. This individual would be responsible for identifying and posting robust and compelling content that complements emerging platforms of interest to vital populations, such as prospective students.

Required Experience:

Outstanding front-end web design and production skills. Ability to be on site at least majority of time. Familiarity with trends in responsive design, HTML, web accessibility, usability testing, information architecture, and mobile web applications. Demonstrated writing, design, and editing skills. Proven organizational and communication abilities.

Additional Considerations:

Previous work experience in higher education.
