Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Assistant Director provides leadership and supervision in the day-to-day operations of occupancy management, front desk operations, and residence hall facilities, including direct supervision of the Coordinator of Housing Operations and the Coordinator of Residence Hall Facilities/Front Desk Operations, both full-time, professional positions. The Assistant Director serves on the leadership team of the department and reports to the Dean of Residence Life and Housing/Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs. This position also liaises with several campus partners and serves in the department's senior level on-call rotation for crisis response. This is a live-off position.

Required Experience:

3+ years full-time professional Housing Operations experience; Comprehensive understanding of student development philosophy; Supervision experience; crisis management experience; commitment and ability to work with a diverse student and staff population.

Additional Considerations:

KSAs
Substantial StarRez and Banner experience; skills in project planning, data reporting, analysis and auditing, time management, and customer service.

Master Degree preferred
