Title: Research and Data Analytics Intern

Advertised Range: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary/Basic Functions

The UMW Career Center seeks a proactive and analytical Research & Data Analytics Intern to support employer engagement initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Director, the intern will collect and analyze data to help guide employer outreach, evaluate programming effectiveness, and support strategic decision-making.

Required KSAs/Competencies/Qualifications

Current UMW undergraduate or graduate student
Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
GPA of 2.5 or above -Ability to work 20 hours per week
Excellent listening skills -Prior customer service experience
MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Required Education:

Current Student at University of Mary Washington

Additional Considerations:

DESIRED -Experience learning new software systems and using data analysis software is a plus.
-Familiarity with Canva is a plus
