Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Assistant Director will effectively manage a significant regional territory to support new student enrollment goals. They will develop a comprehensive recruitment strategy, involving day and overnight travel to high schools and college fairs, planning and executing regional events, reviewing applications, making admission recommendations, and building relationships with key stakeholders within the territory. As part of the admissions team, the Assistant Director will also contribute to the organization of on- and off-campus events, handle daily operational tasks such as group information sessions and individual admission counseling appointments, and participate in special projects as requested.

While a campus based position there are potential opportunities for remote days.

Required Experience:

Minimum of three years of admissions recruitment experience, preferably at a higher educational institution in a similar capacity. Equivalent experience will be considered. Experience managing a recruitment territory for admissions travel and application review.

Additional Considerations:

KSAs
Spanish language skills preferred

EDUCATION
Master's degree preferred.

Experience
Experience working in Slate. Experience working in Banner or similar SIS. Experience conducting detailed review of credentials/data and analytical decision-making strongly preferred.
