Job Summary/Basic Functions
Provide communications support to law enforcement and other public safety personnel of a university campus as well as to and for the members of the University community as well as the general public for non-emergency and emergency calls for service and/or assistance.
Required Experience:
Experience working in a customer service environment and good communication skills.Working knowledge of office and customer service practices.
Additional Considerations:

Demonstrated ability to think and respond quickly in emergency situations.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
General customer service experience and some actual work experience either as a dispatcher, or 911 operator.Experience with Computer Aided Dispatch software and 911 emergency call taking.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
Must be able to obtain and maintain VSP VCIN operator certification.
