Job Summary/Basic Functions
UMW Athletics is seeking qualified individuals to apply for the Manager of Athletic Business Operations position. This position serves as the manager of athletic business operations with specific responsibilities in the area of accounting, budget, procurement and internal operations. This individual will have the knowledge and the ability to perform and manage a variety of business and administrative functions, including, but not limited to, accounting, budget, finance, procurement, and office services/systems. Excellent management and organizational skills. Extensive computer skills using Microsoft Office applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to locate inefficiencies and make corrections. Ability to work without supervision. Ability to effectively interact with students, faculty, staff, and the general public. Ability to supervise individuals effectively.
