Performs law enforcement, crime prevention, security and related public safety functions within state controlled property. To protect life, property and enforce the rules and regulations of University of Mary Washington as well as the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia in such a manner which supports the mission of the University. Additionally, to provide a safe environment which is conducive to the education of, and promotes harmony for, all members of the University community.
