Job Summary/Basic Functions
The University of Mary Washington is searching for a part time certified pool operator to manage our Goolrick Pool Facility. Goolrick pool is a newly renovated 6 lane, 179,000 gallon competition and recreation pool. The pool operator will be responsible for keeping UMW in compliance with the Fredericksburg Health Department, troubleshooting and reporting any facility maintenance issues as well as the general oversight of pool function including but not limited to: backwashing, operating the pool vacuum, and maintaining the water chemistry.
